 After graduating from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1994, Dr. Carolyn Baldiviez returned to Santa Maria, the community her family has been a part of since the 1930s. She feels privileged to be back and to have the opportunity to work in the city where she grew up.
Dr. Baldiviez focuses on providing Santa Marians with high-quality dental care in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. She feels that it is absolutely essential to build trust with her patients by listening carefully to their questions and concerns, and working to address them. Kindness and caring are the cornerstones of Dr. Baldiviez’s approach to dentistry.
Dr. Baldiviez is also actively working to give back to her community, through associations with the Marian Community Clinics Board, St. Mary's Consultative Board and St. Joseph High School Advisory Board. She and her husband of 18 years, Vincent Martinez, have two children, Caitlyn and Noah, ages 14 and 11.
