Cerec 3D
Before the advent of Cerec 3D technology, a procedure to install crowns, veneers, inlays or onlays would take, at the very least, two visits. One visit was required to take impressions of the teeth, and then the patient had to return and have the restoration installed after the crown, veneers, or inlay had been built at a dental laboratory.
With Cerec 3D, we use a special, highly precise infrared camera to take a digital impression of your teeth. You will be able to watch as this image is used to plan the restoration on a computer. The Cerec 3D machine then custom-mills your crown or veneers while you wait. This allows many procedures to be completed over the course of just one office visit.

Intraoral Camera
The intraoral camera can help your dentist discover and diagnose problems in the earliest stages of development, before they become serious. An intraoral camera is small enough to be maneuvered into areas of the mouth that are hard to reach, and even harder to see. Images from the camera are displayed on a monitor, allowing your dentist to easily show you any problems, and then describe the way she will treat them.

Digital X-Rays
We take digital x-rays with a tiny camera that we place in your mouth. This camera takes the digital x-rays, then immediately sends the images to a computer monitor, allowing Dr. Baldiviez to immediately look at them, diagnose any problems, and show you where the problem areas are and what your options are for correcting them.
While the levels of radiation you are exposed to with traditional x-rays are considered very safe, digital x-rays are even safer. In fact, digital x-rays expose you to 90 percent less radiation.
